My name is Christian Pickel and I am the founder and manager of dividendpearls.com.

After more than 20 years on the stock markets, during which the world’s economies have been defined by major events such as the First Gulf War, the Russian and Asian financial crises, the LTCM debacle, 9/11, Enron, WorldCom, the Second Gulf War, the global financial crisis, the euro crisis and the debt crisis, I now choose to focus on safer investments, namely dividend stocks.

Ten years ago, almost no information existed on this topic in German, so I decided to launch a German language online dividend database in the spring of 2006.

From the very beginning, my aim has always been to help investors find the best dividend stocks.

We have improved the database continuously over the years and adapted it to the requirements of our customers. Investors can now find the best dividend stocks quickly and easily. Hundreds of thousands of visitors have already benefited from our reliable service, which has also been available in English since 2017.

Although we specialize in European dividend stocks, our database contains many other great stocks from around the world. There are numerous online services for US stocks, but finding reliable dividend data about European companies is not so easy, simply because the requirements differ so much from one European country to another.

In the US, all listed companies must provide their financial statements to the SEC in exactly the same format. In Europe, however, the rules differ for each country, and there can even be considerable differences within a country itself.

Because we have been collecting this data for more than 10 years, we know exactly how, when and where to find the right figures. And you, too, can benefit from our wealth of experience.
